Solution Overview

ESTMobile is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution allowing service providers to remotely and securely connect to Edwards iO fire control panels. The solution provides access to reports and on-board diagnostics from a browser-based client as well as from a smart phone or a tablet. The solution also sends real-time mobile notifications and emails about panel events, such as alarms and other supervisory or fault events.

ESTMobile is a powerful productivity tool that is designed to provide insight and foresight into fire control panels to improve responsiveness, predict service needs, reduce service cost, and improve customer satisfaction.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Login to myEddie and under 'Account' select ESTMobile Licenses.

Select 'Purchase' on the right hand side.

Select your company administrator and # of licenses. Add your PO, and the Building/Project the license will be associated with, and click Purchase.

The Company Administrator selected when purchasing will receive an email to set up their password from ESTMobileEdwards@Carrier.com within 5 to 10 minutes of purchase.

Once the administrator has activated their account, they are able to add other users.

Release Notes

The Edwards iO panel you would like to manage using ESTMobile needs to have the latest v4.4 iO CU and firmware, and an ethernet card. The latest software/firmware and release notes can be downloaded from myEddie.

Note: If the iO panel does not have an Ethernet card, please take advantage of the Try & Buy promotion above, which includes a free card.

Where do I order the ESTMobile license?

All purchases for ESTMobile licenses are done in the ESTMobile Licenses section of myEddie. See above for more information on How to Get Started.

I saw the QR code and downloaded the app, what do I do now?

You will need to purchase licenses in myEddie to allow you to connect your panels to the app. See above for information on How to Get Started

Which panels are supported with ESTMobile?

Edwards iO64 and iO1000.

Who can purchase ESTMobile Licenses?

MyEddie Company Admin with either of the 2 roles:
ESTMobile License Administrator – can purchase and terminate licenses
ESTMobile order entry – can purchase licenses

How do I cancel or terminate a ESTMobile License?

All license terminations are done on MyEddie. Once a license is terminated it is no longer available and rebill will stop.

What happens once I purchase licenses?

Once a license is purchased, you will receive 3 emails: (1) confirming that you purchased the licenses; (2) a link to the ESTMobile solution and instructions; and (3) credentials to access the solution

Do I need a user license for the mobile application?

No. Once you purchase the ESTMobile license, you or your admin will be able to add you as a user on the system.

Do I need an additional or special license to access reports or diagnostics?

A single license allows for access to all the panel features, including email and mobile notifications, all reports, and all diagnostics.

Once I purchase the license, when will Edwards bill me?

The first bill will effective on the day of the purchase and recurring monthly charges on the original purchase date, each month.

Can I move a license from one panel to another?

No. Licenses cannot be transferred to a different panel. You may cancel the license of the panel and purchase another license for the new panel.

Is there a limitation on how many users can be connected to one panel?

No. Admins can add technicians, end users, and even additional admins as needed.

Can we have multiple admins to the system?

Yes. Multiple admins, as well as multiple technicians and multiple building owners can be assigned to a panel.

What does an ESTMobile license buy me?

A single license allows for access to all the panel features, including email and mobile notifications, all reports, and all diagnostics.

Is ESTMobile secure?

Edwards is using the Security Development Lifecycle Assurance (SDLA) program to ensure the cybersecurity of the ESTMobile solution, which includes a Project Team Cybersecurity expert with every development team, Cyber Training for all developers, Threat Modeling, Static Code Analysis, Software Composition Analysis, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) Evaluation, 3^rd Party Code/Library Analysis, and Penetration Testing.

What does Edwards do with the data taken from the application?

Is ESTMobile UL listed?

The panel firmware, version 4.4. and above, that supports the ESTMobile solution is UL listed. All other elements of the ESTMobile solution are not meant for UL listed applications.

Does ESTMobile support EST4?

No. However, Edwards is in the process of developing a similar solution for the EST4.
